Phew... it's hot in Seattle. It's not easy to stay cool and look good, but Veronica manages to pull it off. The thermometer has been hitting the north side of ninety, so we've had to work to stay cool. We kept the kitchen cool by letting the Heaters cook for us on Sunday. On Monday, Veronica hopped in the pool as soon as she got home from daycare and felt much better. She was very grateful to the pool for cooling her down.The other sensation for Veronica this summer has been "So you think you can dance" on Fox. Veronica loves it. She can barely contain herself during the dance numbers and thankfully Tivo allows us to fast forward to the dancing. And if any of you are concerned about the long term effects of watching too much TV on Vv's development, don't worry. Veronica is exposed to other forms of cognitive stimulation. See, she's gonna be fine.
And speaking of developments, Veronica is starting to stand on her own for a few seconds at a time anyway. OK, that's enough. Everybody, back in the pool!
