It's a water themed blog post this week. Veronica graduated from the tubbie in the kitchen to the big girl tubbie this week. It was a little confusing at first, but she adjusted quickly. And around the house Vv is climbing up and into everything in sight.
Continuing the water theme, Veronica went swimming for the first time this weekend. We travelled to Pemberton, Canada for the wedding of our friends Rhetick and Caryn and took advantage of the hotel pool. Pemberton is just north of Whistler in British Columbia. It's a beautiful part of the world and we took Vv on her first hike...ok, it was a walk. At the end of the trail, we had a fellow walker take a family picture in front of the waterfall... literally. The wedding itself was a mix of Jewish and Bengali wedding traditions. And the wedding brings us to the next step of our water themed post: sweat. It was hot. And without air conditioning to cool her down, Vv got tuckered out fast and was the first wedding guest to pass out.
It was a great weekend sandwiched between two 5-hour drives. Vv was a great sport in the car, even during long waits at the border. We even stopped for a little rest and refreshment at everybody's favorite roadside eatery.
