Day Care and the High Chair

Daycare started this week. The first day was expectedly difficult and Veronica shed her first tear at the morning drop off, which broke Momma’s heart and she shed a few too. When Momma picked her up at the end of the day they described Veronica’s amount of crying throughout the day as “typical”… not “a lot” or “not much”, but typical. I don’t think they typically see happy babies on the first day. Daddy was glad for once to have the long commute to work and avoid the daycare drop off and pick up all together.

Thankfully, everyone felt much better at home.

The adventures in solid food continue. Veronica gave peas a chance this week, with predictable results. Sweet potatoes were next on the menu, but they weren’t received any better than the peas. For now, we are back to rice cereal and that makes everyone happy.

...Happy Birthday to Carmen...and Happy Birthday to Auntie Heather...Happy Square-Root Day to Auntie GG...and some videos will be posted soon, but Picasa requires a separate program for that (silly Google).
